Our Commitment to Sustainability
- Crafting with care-
for a future built on trust and peace of mind
- Kaoru InouePresident & CEO
Since our founding, we have been dedicated to delivering high-quality products that earn our customers’ trust and peace of mind—products that support beauty, health, and a positive, empowered lifestyle.
Today, as global environmental issues become increasingly urgent, we recognize that true beauty and peace of mind—both inside and out—can only be achieved on a foundation of a stable and healthy global environment.
That’s why we are committed to sustainable manufacturing practices that minimize waste and make the most of available resources.
Initiatives for Reducing Environmental Impact
- Proactively developing products that incorporate recycled materials such as leftover fabric, recycled nylon, and recycled polyester
- Utilizing surplus yarn from our material suppliers to create new fabrics and laces, which are then used in our product designs
Bras, by their nature, are composed of many small parts and are often considered difficult to recycle. In response, we are exploring the development of monomaterial designs—creating bras from a single material type—using innovative technologies that maintain comfort while improving recyclability.
Environmental Management Rooted in Our Community
As a company based in Kyoto—the birthplace of the Kyoto Protocol, which inspired the Paris Agreement—we participate in KES (Kyoto Environmental Management System). Through KES, we continue to work on local environmental efforts such as reducing paper usage and saving energy in our offices and factories.
Moving forward, we will continue to create innovative products using eco-friendly materials and new perspectives, while fostering a workplace culture where each employee engages sincerely with environmental challenges. Through these efforts, we aim to contribute meaningfully to a more sustainable future.
